This Bolivianite should not be mistaken for the original name used for Bolivian Ametrine. Given the recent discovery of this mineral, there is ongoing debate concerning its precise chemical composition. Current indications suggest that it is a combination of Fuchsite, Fluorite and Diaspore, while some speculate the combination of Serpentine and Fluorite.
